NAN Data Transport System

Purpose
NDTS (NMR Data Transfer System) is designed to:
- Automatically harvest datasets from the spectrometer
- Link users and PIsto datasets
- Capture metadata automatically
- Capture user-entered metadata
NDTS Components
NDTS consists of four main components:
- Daemon – harvests and send datasets from the spectrometer computer to the facility gateway
- GUI – provides interface for users to control dataset harvesting from spectrometers
- Receiver – accepts transmitted experiment at the NAN datacenter
- Parser – scans each dataset, generates additional metadata based on experimental parameters, creates database entries with corresponding metadata, and saves the dataset files to the NAN primary and disaster recovery storage.
