The NAN Data Browser is composed of four Dashboards. Datasets, Samples, Collections, and My Permissions.

Users can navigate between them from the left-most high-level Navigation bar. Note that the bar is collapsible to gain additional screen real-estate and may need to be expanded if collapsed to select between the different options

The Dataset browser allows users to view all datasets in which they have permission to view, including public and published datasets

The Sample browser allows users to view all samples for which they have permission to view

The Collections browser allows users to view all dataset and sample collections for which they have permission to view

The My Permissions page allows users to see what lab groups and projects they are apart of and what permissions they have in each.

The Dataset, Sample, and Collection browsers all show data in tabular format with different column headings. Which columns and in which order the columns are displayed are controlled by the user and are stored as a user preference which works across sessions and browsers.
