Why You May Not See Your NAN Username in the NDTS GUI
The list of NAN usernames available in the NDTS GUI is managed by your local NMR facility manager via the Manage Facility Users page on the NAN portal.
Facility managers can:
- Add NAN users to the facility’s user list.
- Map a NAN user to a local workstation username.
- Set whether a local workstation user is allowed to change the selected NAN username from the spectrometer’s GUI.
If you cannot select your NAN username from the NDTS GUI, there are two common reasons:
- You have not been added to the facility user list.
- The local workstation user does not have permission to change the NAN username from its default.
In either case, contact your NMR facility manager and ask them to:
- Add your NAN username to the list of facility users, or
- Modify the workstation settings to allow you to select or change the NAN username.
